The Raconteurs, Jack White's current side project. The band's first album is set for a May 16th release in the States. The band's website provides a list of tour dates and two free downloadable tracks. It's also one of the all-time greatest website designs, harking back to the early 80's. Usable it's not, but creative and original it is. See for yourself...

B.B. King - Live in Cook County Jail

B0000062y501_aa240_sclzzzzzzz_

Start with the 1 minute, 51 second "Introduction" where the emcee has the gall to introduce "our own beloved Sheriff Woods" and "the chief justice of the criminal court, Judge Joseph Power" to the crowd of howling inmates... Amidst a chorus of fading boos and sarcastic laughter, the emcee introduces B.B. King: "just a fine, warm human being full of humility... would you please step forward Mr. Ki-" and then BOOM, before she can finish her thought - King explodes into a blazing-tempo version of "Everyday I Have The Blues". By the time he gets to the third song in the set, "How Blue Can You Get", his guitar playing and quiet-loud-quiet dynamic has the crowd of prisoners completely mesmerized.
